Supabase adds agent-ready backend tools and in-app MCP servers
Supabase announced at its Oct 2, 2026 Select event, per supabase.com, that coding agents can now set up and test backend changes locally without Docker, with pg-delta handling migrations. It also launched Supabase Compute for long-running services and let apps embed their own MCP server so signed-in users' agents can act inside them.
